The bank has partnered with Sydney-based start-up Kounta to add a new app to the bank’s Albert EFTPOS tablet, which integrates a range of business, payment and POS processes so businesses will only need to use one app for everything.Businesses can use the app to accept payments, manage tables, take customer orders, split bills and update inventory levels at the same time, while the app also integrates closely with loyalty, accounting, inventory, rostering and payroll applications.
“Practically, it means staff can be interacting with customers in a more efficient and personable way because they don’t need to be using multiple systems or devices,” CBA executive Claire Roberts said in a statement.
Kounta founder and CEO Nick Cloete said that because Kounta is cloud-based, the app can be accessed across different devices and locations.
