Mowgli has always been a favourite character of kids, and keeping this in mind, Madhya Pradesh tourism celebrates Mowgli Festival every year.
The festival celebrates the notorious kid of the wilds, who is believed to have belonged to the jungles of Madhya Pradesh. It is believed that Kipling was inspired by a true story based on the wild child of the Pench National Park, Madhya Pradesh.
This year the festival is being celebrated in two zones. First zone was held on 17th November in Kanha, and 18th November in Shivpuri. The second zone will take place on 27th November in Bandhavgarh, and 28th November in Madai.
The second zone of the festival has a lot in store for its participants. The event includes multiple activities like jungle safari, naure trails, forest tours, camping, quizzes and various gaming activities. The locations of Bandhavgarh and Madai will add to the charm and scenic beauty.
The kids will be able to enjoy the event with a beautiful backdrop, the green and serene Bandhavgarh, with the roars of the royal tigers, and melodious chirping of the birds there. Madai on the other hand will present them with extraordinary views, and breath-taking beauty. The event is an exclusive one, and only school students can participate in this. For more information you can contact the respective school authorities.
