7 Things to Do While Commuting Long Hours Travelling Abroad
The only drawback of travelling abroad is that you to commute for long hours in order to get there. Both boring and tiring, but you can make your travel a good one if you have something to entertain and kill-time while travelling.

freePRnow.com, 11/18/2013 - Here are tips for long flights and long trips that will make your travel experience less stressful:

1) Bring Snacks

It is a long trip and you need nourishment for your body. Bring snacks like chips, sandwich and bottled water.

2) Bring a newspaper

Maybe you haven’t read the news for quite some time. Bring a newspaper so you can read about current events that are happening. You might read something interesting about the place you are about to visit.

3) Bring an MP3 player

Download some music or an audiobook in your mp3 player or smart phone. Spend long hours listening to music or a motivational audiobook. It will make any 6-14 hour travel pass by.

4) Bring your favorite book

You will now have time to read that thick book that you wanted to finish. No disturbances, unless you have your kids always playing and going to the restroom.

5) Download Applications in your game console or smart phone

Be a kid again and play games! It can be addictive one you started. It is also a great way to bond with your children and keep them from being bored and anxious.

6) Make friends while travelling

You might meet other commuters and become instant friends. Take this trip as an opportunity to interact with others. You might end up having a new business partner and even a life partner.

7) Sleep

Recharge! Relax your mind and body by getting the much needed rest you deserve. It may not be comfortable sleeping while seated but grab this moment to close your eyes and just think about nothing but relax.

These are some of the practical time-wasters that you can do while taking long trips while travelling abroad. Make sure to download Call Emergency App, a must have on your iPhone. It will call directly to the local police, hospital and any emergency numbers while you are travelling.
