"Furthermore, new players continue to move in to this market such as Slack, better known for their business messenger services, are now making headway in providing a business conferencing solutions over WebRTC".
"In the short term, say at least the next 5 plus years, WebRTC products such as Skye & Slack may not be able to meet every businesses needs right now as the top conference call providers due to the constraints of being a 100% over the internet type of connection and the need to download specific software".
Benjamin goes on to say, "If a businesses conference calling requirements are for discussions with their clients, the last thing you need is a WebRTC comms product where you need to ask your client to download additional software (Skype or Slack). Then of course, there's the issue of poor internet connections - especially if customer is in a poor internet area, or making use of a smart device where 3G or 4G is being depended on. Lost or distorted connections are a big no no for comms with potential or current customers".
