Featured on stations including BBC Radio One, Capital FM and Kiss FM ‘Chapter One’ has received support from industry heavyweights such as Pete Tong, Claude Vonstroke and Rog-er Sanchez to name a few. The album features a collection of originals, collaborations and remixes with many of Lempo’s high profile industry colleagues.
Every track on ‘Chapter One’ has charted in some capacity, including no less than ten number #1’s across various download stores and two Music Week top 20’s.
DJ Lempo’s career began in 2006 with a residency at Sankeys in Manchester for the club brand Bitch Events. In 2010, Bitch Events relocated to Venus The Club in Manchester where Lempo remained resident DJ until October 2014. In January 2010, Lempo was voted Man-chester's number one DJ in an online poll ‘The DJ List’. He presented his own radio show on Cheshire FM 92.5 from November 2010 until moving to Manchester’s Unity Radio FM 92.8 in January 2012. In 2014 Lempo switched from the airwaves to Mixcloud and has gained a cult following, with his ‘Twisted Melon’ mix-tape series consistently topping the house music chart. Lempo has been a regular performer for UK club brands Ministry Of Sound, Cream and The Warehouse Project, having supported artists such as Disclosure, Steve Aoki and Skrillex.

In June 2010, Lempo released his first full-length EP titled ‘The Death of Micky Fidget’ on Wonked Records, the EP featured ‘Hit The Floor’ a collaboration with Kelevra which has ben remastered for ‘Chapter One’. Later that year Lempo launched his own imprint Applique Music with the labels first release, ‘The Best Times’ featuring Brazilian chanteuse Angelita Jimenez which reached #2 on Trackitdown, #3 on Traxsource and #21 on Beatport, gaining support from Eric Morillo and Roger Sanchez.
In 2012 Lempo sampled Nancy Sinatra, giving her 1966 signature hit ‘These Boots Are Made for Walking’ a 21st century refresh with Japwow. The single 'Jack in Boots' on Susu Music was featured on the i-Tunes home page upon release, reaching number #13 in The Music Week Club Chart (UK) and #36 on Beatport. ‘Boston Boogie’ a collaboration with Toolroom Records’ Will Gold, was Lempo’s first number #1 when it topped the Trackitdown store, Will Gold also remixed Lempo’s collaboration with The Daniel Pemberton TV Orchestra 'Leaders Of Men' which sampled the score from the Sony Playstation game 'LittleBigPlanet'.
2013 saw Lempo work with several acclaimed artists including Wonked Records’ Japwow on ‘Sound Of The Horns’, House music legends K-Klass on ‘Brass Attack’ and with the producer of Craig David’s platinum selling ‘Born To Do It’ album - Mark (The Artful Dodger) Hill on ‘Playboy Bunny’ featuring Hollyoaks actor Ashley Taylor Dawson on vocal, which reached #1 on Juno Download and #54 on i-Tunes, while gaining support on BBC Radio One with plugs from Greg James and Nick Grimshaw.
