NEWSWIRE RELEASE LAS VEGAS, NEVADA OCT.6, 2010 PST On this 6th day of October, 2010, it was brought to my attention that there were certain derogatory posts written about me, Chef Homer Lee Thomas, on an investment Blog known as Investors Hub. Out of abnormal curiosity, I turned on the computer and went directly to this so called investment sight. What I saw were posts by people afraid to give their real names, and in combined conclusion... I just had to laugh. This is not a sight where astute investors go and research stocks. This is a sight where people go and gossip. See for yourself www.investorshub.advfn.comFirst, let's get one thing perfectly clear. I was never an officer or director of Le Bon Table Brand Foods Corporation. I am the creator/inventor of the food, beverage, and hi-tech products manufactured by the company and I am also the producer of an instructional cooking show for the Le Bon Table Foods Channel. I also act as a spokesperson for the company and I often give advice to the folks who are involved in the day to day operations of the company. Le Bon Table has three divisions which are each publicly traded and under different names, something of which the Le Bon Table Board of Directors will be making an announcement on very soon.
Also, after seeing one of the posts which incriminated me in a crime in the country of Switzerland, I was immediately drawn to phone the Swiss Interpol authorities and ask them myself..."Am I really wanted in Switzerland for not paying my phone bill???" After their laughter subsided they informed me that I am "not" a wanted man in Switzerland as some people may have lead you to believe... mainly Moe Green/ Mary Bonhage. It is not a crime to leave the country of Switzerland without paying a phone bill. Thank God...Now I'll be able to sleep tonight.
Further... I was never convicted of a crime in the country of Guatemala. I was in the country of Guatemala delivering Iranian currency to a special operations director for the Nicaraguan Contras, namely, Lorenzo Lacayo. I was Kidnapped, the currency was taken from me... to be exact, seventeen and a half million dollars worth of Iranian currency. Myself, along with two other associates were physically and mentally abused and basically held for ransom in a place called Granja Penal de Pavon. Call it what you will. One year later... we escaped.
Yes, it is true that I was indicted for my involvement in that whole Iran mess and yes I plead guilty, and YES... I spent time in prison.
And yes, five years after I was released, I got in trouble again for writing a bad check. It was not done purposely, but I am not going to try and push the blame off onto anyone but myself. Business deal gone bad. I was stupid. Stupid, stupid, stupid.
And yes, in 2002, I was violated by the SEC for insider trading. Read the case history for yourself and you make the decision... guilty or not guilty. Plain and simple... it was the same thing that happened to Martha.
I have never hidden my past from anyone. And, if people don't want to purchase Le Bon Table products because of my past... that is up to them. But, don't throw stones at someone who is trying to make a decent, honest living. Don't shoot this horse because it walks with a limp. And, please... don't rip the shirt off of my back if you're cold... I'll gladly give it to you even if its the last shirt that I own.
So, to you Investor Hubbers... get a life.
