to expand. DSS has also moved its headquarters to accommodate future growth and

development.

Steven G. Caplin is a Certified Public Accountant and the founder, former CEO and chairman of

Steton Technology. From his time at Steton, Caplin brings a strong background in management,

marketing, sales channel development, strategic partnerships, and private equity transactions to

DSS. "I'm excited to join DSS because it’s a great company,” Caplin asserts. “It has a great track

record of success and a real heritage of high quality solutions and outstanding customer service. I

think Adrienne and her team have all done an outstanding job guiding the company, and I'm

honored to build on their success.”

Founder, President and former CEO Adrienne Akers explains, “Steve brings a new set of skills

needed to manage our growth as we scale the company. From the outset, I served as President

and CEO. In most startups, a small team needs to wear many hats during the early years as team

members learn a variety of skills simultaneously. It’s essentially a case of sink or swim. That

being said, DSS has grown significantly since we launched the company in 2007. I recognized

that we needed a CEO who could focus on business strategy to drive more rapid growth.”

Akers will continue to oversee day-to-day operations and staff and consumer relations as the

company’s president, while Caplin develops strategy and sales. Explaining his goals, Caplin

asserts, “The vision for the company is to strengthen our customer relationships, to develop

greater partnership assets with our channels of distribution, and to continue investing in research

and development in order to make the product even stronger and differentiate it in a crowded

marketplace. Our goal is to become the premier on-boarding solution provider in the HR

software category."

company in Utah, DSS has also recently relocated its corporate headquarters. “Frankly, we

outgrew our former offices,” Akers continued. “The expanded space enables us to bring on new
