The case between Finance Bank Zambia and Simaata Simaata has been going on for now. This press release will highlight the various facets of the case, historical background and the current status of the case. Simaata Simaata is notorious in Zambia for his overly jealous and sensitive nature. Every now and then, he is known to get involved in notorious acts. This time it was Finance Bank Zambia which suffered the conspiracy. Simaata accused the bank of fraud and unethical practices and gave testimonials against the bank at several courts of low. The bank, which was established and nurtured by Dr. Rajan Mahtani, suffered huge blow and started losing clients and businesses. The matter was then taken to the Supreme Court Zambia.

Finance Bank claimed that Simaata’s accusations were false and based on his personal opinion. The bank further claimed that Simaata was actually breaking his terms as per the contract signed between him and the bank. After looking into the evidence and various arguments, it was finally decided that the bank was not guilty of any fraud. Instead, Simaata was found to be breaking contract terms and was penalized for his acts.
