After founding three separate, successful companies devoted to the advancement, research and development of alternative energy sources, Greg Jaunich graduated from the College of St. Scholastica in Duluth, MN with dual master’s degrees. Greg Jaunich is aware of the rising problem of depleting energy sources. Wind is a free fuel source, is plentiful, and is a very clean source of energy, the perfect solution to our growing energy needs. Wind power could eventually be responsible for powering over a quarter of the United States of America.
Greg Jaunich is the founder of Boreal Energy, Inc. Boreal Energy, Inc is a company that develops, owns and operates wind energy production facilities. Most of Boreal Energy’s assets were sold off to Wind Energy America, Inc. back in 2007.
Greg Jaunich is also the founder and former leader of Navitas Energy, Inc. Navitas is also a wind energy company that develops, owns, and operates wind energy production facilities. The number of people Navitas Energy employs varies based on demand. Back in 2002, a controlling stake of Navitas Energy, Inc., 75% to be exact, was sold to Gamesa, S.A.. Gamesa, S.A. is the one of the largest international manufacturer and developer of wind turbines and wind energy projects throughout the world. After Gamesa, S.A. acquired Navitas Energy, Inc., Greg Jaunich led the North American division of the company.
The third company that Greg Jaunich created, founded and led is Northern Alternative Energy, Inc. Again, Northern Alternative Energy, Inc. is a wind energy firm that develops, owns and operates wind energy production facilities and has operated for over 20 years. Northern Alternative Energy, Inc installed many of the very first wind farms in Minnesota, Iowa, Wisconsin, and Illinois. Greg Jaunich was responsible for projects that produced over 700 megawatts of power in the Midwest. In addition to creating, founding and leading these companies, Greg Jaunich has established himself as a pioneer of the wind energy industry. Greg Jaunich believes that is more important now than ever that we start turning to alternative energy sources to power our world. Wind is one of the cleanest sources of energy on the planet and its usage is necessary.
