Ira Brody is an extensively experienced professional who strongly believes in working for the welfare of the society. He involves himself in several social welfare activities and regularly donates a significant amount of his time and money to charitable causes like MY Sister’s Place, Rutherford LEAP. He is also the board of Rutherford LEAP, a program started with an aim to provide laptop computers to the 7th graders of Rutherford County. In addition to this, he also campaigned for the post of a state treasurer, who is responsible for managing the state government’s investment and retirement funds along with the workers compensation pool. Since January 2009, Brody has been serving as the Partner & Managing Partner of Broad Park Capital, LLC. Prior to this, he worked as the Publisher for Brody Communications and has also worked with several other organizations like State Senate from New York, Victory’93, State of New York, Governor-Elect George Pataki Transition Committee, Department of General Services, New Yorkers for Term Limits, Inc., New York State Olympic Games Commission, etc.
Furthermore, as the Chairman of Tennessee Victory’08, Ira Brody was responsible for raising funds, and coordinating State Senate and House Races across the state. He was also a delegate to the 2008 National Republican Convention in St. Paul, Minnesota. Brody graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Economy, with an emphasis in Law & Society in May 1989, from the Murphy Institute of Political Economy, Tulane University in New Orleans, Louisiana. Later, in May 1991, he obtained his Master of Business Administration degree in Finance from Kogod College of Business Administration, The American University in Washington, DC. In addition to this, he is also a Juris Doctor from the Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law, Yeshiva University in New York.
