Joseph Hundeby has many years of experience in the education industry and places a strong emphasis on continuing to learn about the field. He is a Ph. D. candidate and a Graduate Research Assistant at the University of North Dakota in Grand Forks. He is licensed in the field of General Education, and is working towards his license in Special Education. His teaching philosophy aims at preparing pupils for a local and global future. He is able to communicate effectively with pupils of all ages, while creating a safe and productive learning environment. He has earned several academic achievements. He orchestrated the school improvement gains necessary to gain Todd County Schools from NCLB sanctions for low attendance. He implemented, maintained and created 16 academic course offerings in the software program Plato for the Alternative Learning Center and he also wrote goals and objectives for high school students in the Alternative Programs for students varying in the ages of 15 to 21.Joseph Hundeby has spent many years working both as a teacher and an administrator. He has obtained his Bachelor's of Education from Iowa Wesleyan College and then received his Master's of Education from the University of Minnesota, where he focused on Teacher Leadership. He received college scholarship and has played football for four years. He has performed useful presentations and consultant work. Along with significant teaching experience, he has also extensive military experience. He was a member of the National Guard from 1986-2002. he won prestigious awards for his military works and was also active during Desert Storm and Operation Noble Eagle.
