It appears that Konrad Mizzi was wrongfully assorted to the embellished mercy of fake news, reports claim. In developments rounding off since the Panama data leak, Mizzi was stripped off his energy and health departments as compensation for the Maltese government to escape the indigenous onslaught of the public eye-view. Turns out, Mizzi is innocent of all charges; MEP investigation into the scandal has revealed quantifiable evidence to clear the Minister’s name from an apparent money embezzling scandal that rocked his political career face down. A recently conducted meeting between MEP officials and Minister Konrad Mizzi produced certifiable claims that accounted for insufficient evidence against the accused party. In a prior onslaught of accusations and well-schemed character manoeuvre orchestrated by the National Party, Mizzi slammed the latter for wrongfully blaming him and seeks redemption against the aforementioned party to ever doubt his acumen in the line of work and duty.
During the investigation proceedings, Dr. Mizzi precariously published an audit opinion of his Rotorua Trust dated July 22nd 2015 to June 30th 2016. According to certified documents, the audit was carried out by Crowe Horwath, a firm established in New Zealand. The audit clearly stated no insider-trading within the company, but only mentioned derogatory payments in the liabilities assets currently owed to Mizzi at the time. According to the auditors, various trusts as well as Hearnville Inc. held no bank accounts to account for any money laundering during the period under review. The group and trust’s liabilities although owed Dr. Mizzi US $5235 which according to Mizzi himself represented fees for various set ups that he personally reimbursed to make ends meet in accountability. He later revealed that under his guidance, a process was commissioned to close down the Panama-labelled company and vouched for the complete disclosure on the dissolution process.
However, the National Party then responded that no audits could replace any investigations supervised by the police and various anti-money laundering investigators. It looks like the National Party is not letting go of any means of approach to level Minister Mizzi’s advances into the folds of the government’s protection, even if he evidently doesn’t require it.
Caught in the midst of this tumultuous tempest in the making, Konrad Mizzi stands firm on his stance to maintain his public and authoritative integrity to default his accusers of diligent backstabbing and has rounded off the surge of his commitment to help make Malta one of the frontrunners in the strategic field of implementation. He recognizes the threats that befall his loyalty to Malta, but also realizes that someday the storm shall pass and the people will come to appreciate the level of work he has put or may oversee in the future. The Prime Minister’s office has vouched for their man under scrutiny and continues to show staunch support no matter what the circumstances may reveal. They have accepted the extent of pressure that is adamant to fall on their shoulders but are fully confident that Mizzi will emerge victorious and free of all charges no questions asked. That’s some confidence, don’t you think?
