DFA is one of the reputed amongst New York Film Schools and has unlimited use of equipment and editing/computer labs during courses. They lead their students to become proficient at technical skill. When a student enrolls in digital film academy program it will receive two to four weeks of additional edit lab time after course completion which equals more practice, better proficiency and skill development.
The class size of DFA is limited to between 10 and 15 students. This allows every student to have more hands on time with equipment and instructor. Those graduated from DFA receives one year production membership after completing the program. That means they are eligible to access DFA equipment and facility free of cost.
