Human beings have lived for many centuries on this planet. Both biological and psychological evolutions have taken place over those centuries. The cave man had to face difficulties from natural calamities and hazards as also from the other living beings. In dealing with them, his knowledge advanced in both the physical and psychological fields. With ever deepening insights, social and religious concepts evolved, giving him better confidence in his individual life and in his collective existence. However, even after many centuries, his mental approach is still very self-centered. He lacks the awareness that his well-being is intimately and inexorably linked to that of the others. This lack has, most unfortunately, led to conflicts and wars that have spelled great sorrow to human beings. The strange thing is that the practice of religions, instead of creating an atmosphere of compassion and camaraderie, has only created yet another field for arguments and conflicts. The Truth about Religions
It is strange how people refuse to see the simple fact that, as of now, the practice of organized religions clearly feeds the ego. If someone's religion is criticized, it elicits a sharp reaction from that person. Can there be such a reaction from the person if his ego is not hurt? The person may say that he is only protesting against unfair charges. Fair enough, but why the emotional overtones that indicate a hurt ego? It means that, through the current type of religious practices, the ego surreptitiously gains ground while giving the impression that it is getting dissolved. This irony of self-deception seems to escape the notice of the vast majority of people.
Such observations as above can be quite unpleasant to those who have invested psychologically in their attachment to religions. Those who are bold enough to acknowledge the above facts are the ones who can take the journey into themselves and discover a refreshing state of spirituality uncorrupted by man and his myopia about religious involvements.
The Transcendence
People attach themselves to different systems, religious or otherwise. Most people want to remain in the system they are in because it provides them with two important items - ego-satisfaction and ego-security. All those systems have one thing in common: They force their adherents to conform to a set of concepts and conclusions, beliefs and disbelief. Thus, response from a conditioned state of mind is common to all of them. As a result of prolonged contact with the system, the attachment grows strong and it becomes very difficult to release oneself from it. This is the case with the general humanity today. However, those who see how the slavery to such systems destroys their inherent spirituality make a departure and transcend the habitual neurology of human beings; they rise above all man-influenced systems and effervesce into the Natural Field of Spirituality (NFS).
The Natural Field of Spirituality
The essence of NFS lies in its deep passivity and in its eagerness to understand the movement of life - its beauty and purity. It is not guided by self-satisfying notions of spiritual achievements and personal rewards. The loving presence of Divinity is felt beyond all religious concepts and ideas of personal salvation.
