The Wake Up Mission received their official seal from the Secretary of State’s Office in Texas certifying the “Domestic Limited Liability Company” this week. In addition the business has received both their EIN and D&B official numbers. The Wake Up Mission was formed by popular third party California Governor Candidate, Chelene Nightingale, who is now the main host of the Wake Up Mission Blogtalk Show. Ms, Nightingale serves on the WUM LLC as an Executive Board Member along with partners Linda Gilstrap, Nattie Washington and Randy Dees, co-host of the show. The Wake Up Mission’s motto is “connecting the dots for liberty” In addition the goal of the LLC is is to alert and educate others in the areas of finances, faith, and current events by utilizing and establishing multimedia resources; plus to create independent entrepreneurs through residual income opportunities, financial instruction, and company formed business tools.
To announce their company’s mission and raise company awareness, a Booster campaign was launched. The company designed a Wake Up Mission Show t-shirt which displayed a symbol combining the Confederate Flag and a religious cross. In light of recent events, the image’s purpose was to reflect the defense of the First Amendment. Although Booster did not receive any customer complaints, the company banned the fundraiser and sent the following message via email: “We as a company no longer print designs containing the Confederate flag. Recent events have highlighted that many people see the Confederate flag image as hurtful and inflammatory. We realize not everyone sees it that way, but we’ve decided not to offer or accept such designs."
However Booster offered to relaunch the campaign with an alternate design which the Wake Up Mission declined . Ms. Nightingale replied with a letter which included the following statement: “The Wake Up Mission Show views the banning of liberty and freedom of speech to be “hurtful and inflammatory” and thus cannot compromise with an alternative design which does not express the original meaning representing true history and First Amendment rights.”
The Wake Up Mission, LLC plans to continue promoting messages of faith and liberty on their website: www.thewakeupmissionshow.com, in addition to their radio show and in the future via book publishing, film and documentary producing.
