He is a former Police supervisor with more than 16 years of experience. He is also a former Combat Medical specialist in the U.S Army and Emergency Medical technician. Currently, he is pursuing his PhD in Criminal Justice, and is completing coursework and continuing to the dissertation phase of the program. He is married to Marjorie Young who is a nurse by profession. They have two great kids (age 11 and 13) who are involved in debate and aviation.
