"Our aim is to make changes in the hose at the transfer point quickly so as to work clean for the operator," a JRE spokesperson explained. "The coupling connects with one turn of the handle and closes by itself when the hose is taken off. Customers pick the seal to match the fluid they handle, and we can supply FKM, NBR, EPDM, Chemraz or Kalrez. We also match the end connection to the flanges or threads already on site, so the coupling fits in without changes to the pipework."
On existing lines, these couplings can replace quick release and camlock couplings. They connect and disconnect while the line is under pressure, and the smooth bore keeps pressure drop low when thick fluids pass through. A mechanical interlock prevents accidental valve opening, and a 360-degree swivel lets the hose turn freely. The couplings are compatible with NATO STANAG 3756.
