The film stars Sensenig and Barbara Crampton as Anne and Paul, a couple living in New England who lose their son in a car accident. When they move into a new house, Anne senses her son’s presence.

Sensenig’s body of work includes acting, directing, producing and even voice over work. He has been a part of indie films as well as studio films and said he enjoys the sense of camaraderie on the set of indie films.

“While the studio projects are always great, being part of an independent film allows for tremendous collaboration,” he said. “There's something very rewarding about being able to talk with your cast mates, the director, the writer, the producers and everyone else who becomes an integral part of the final product.”

Sorrow has been submitted for acceptance into the Brooklyn Film Festival, and Sensenig said he hopes the judges realize what a unique story Sorrow is.

“In addition to having a stellar cast and director, the story is incredibly powerful,” he said. “The scary genre community always likes a good scare, and there is something special about Sorrow that will keep the audience begging for more.”

Writer and director Millie Loredo and the cast of Sorrow will tour to screen the film in six cities in five different states following its premiere at River Oaks Theatre in Houston, Texas and on Amazon Prime Tuesday, April 21.
