Elite Enterprise Technology Inc., a tech company founded by two Black women, ShaQuala Herman and Patrice Anderson, is taking action against Blitz Mobile Apps for alleged fraudulent practices. They contracted Blitz Mobile Apps in February 2023 to create their app “Virtual Access.” Blitz assured Elite Enterprise Technology Inc. of its experience, promising a complete app in 22 weeks. However, after 18 months and paying over $26,000, Elite Enterprise has yet to receive a usable product, incurring over $51,000 in losses.Pattern of Delays and Broken Promises
Shortly after the contract was signed, Blitz Mobile Apps, through representatives Wilson Parker and Jason “Jay” Brown, failed to meet critical milestones. Despite full payment by June 2023, the promised app remained unfinished. With each delay, Blitz offered excuses but no results, leading to missed opportunities and financial strain as Herman and Anderson waited for the product.
Unethical Requests and Legal Action
In a deeply concerning move, Blitz asked Elite Enterprise Technology Inc. to file a bank dispute to recover their payment due to a “frozen account” and then resend it through a new merchant, suggesting questionable practices. Conversations with other businesses revealed similar experiences, indicating a possible broader pattern.
Elite Enterprise Technology Inc. has since filed a formal complaint with the California Attorney General’s Office under the contract’s jurisdiction and is calling on other affected businesses to come forward. Herman and Anderson’s legal options have been limited due to the financial strain caused by Blitz’s actions. As small business owners, the high cost of legal representation has been a barrier to pursuing justice, adding to the harm caused by Blitz’s negligence. The two women are hopeful that by raising public awareness and sharing their story, they may gain support from the community and prevent other businesses from falling victim to Blitz Mobile Apps.
A Call for Accountability
