Spring is the season when many high school and middle school offices start piecing together next year's timetable. USA Scheduler is a master scheduling company that works with school districts across the United States on that task. Its software places students, teachers and courses into a balanced schedule and returns the result to the school's student information system.Schools that run Skyward now have a direct connection to the platform. As an official Skyward integration partner, USA Scheduler offers a Skyward Scheduleroption that imports course requests with one click from Skyward SMS 2.0 or Qmlativ. The engine then places every student request and returns a master schedule with 95 percent or higher accuracy on the first run. Staff can adjust sections with a drag and drop board and settle student conflicts through the company's Perfect Placement tool. The finished schedule writes back to Skyward with the original course codes and section IDs intact. Validation checks run before each export, so no section number has to be typed in by hand.
"Our goal is to give counselors and principals their summer back. When a school can send its Skyward data to us and get a working schedule in return, the team can spend that time with students and families. We are proud to support Skyward districts and we look forward to working with many more schools this year," said a spokesperson for USA Scheduler.
The platform comes from ten years of research and development, shaped by input from thousands of users. Its engine performs more than 20 million calculations per minute to balance class sizes and handle singletons, labs and room limits. A student portal lets learners choose from approved options while the master schedule stays in place. USA Scheduler is ERMA compliant and holds NYC DOE DIIT cloud certification. The company also connects with FACTS and most other student information systems, and its support staff train each school during setup.
